This coming year is the big one and us in Zambia especially Rescue Mission Zambia will be looking to having a great year where we will be architects of our own futures and not mere participants in the chattering of the course.

e-Rain Zambia, a think tank meant to help bridge the Digital Divide in Zambia, was launched last weekend by the Minister of Communications of Zambia and in attendance were hundreds of NGOs, Private companies, Public Institutions and interested individuals.

I hope finally Zambians have accepted that the future of ICTs in enhancing development lies in our hands.

Work on the WSIS Zambia youth forum and the launch of TIG Zambia has reached an adavanced stage and we shall soon be announcing the full package.

We are hoping to get UN support within but our organisation is sponsoring all the logistical costs for the venue and meetings.
