From the comfort of my house I seem to be missing out of the work going on at WSSD and all the media seems to be concentrating on is controversy and failures only.

Hope all you TIGers there are doing great and having fun. Represent us. Many are amazed I am not attending but I have a plate-ful of activities.

Whatever goes up must come down and what goes around comes around. I have waited the whole day for any member of TIG in Ghana to meet me but no one came. I am flying out tomorrow but I am hoping that we shall communicate online.

I have enjoyed the music and radio stations here. I have also been to the discoes including Glens, Strawberry, White Bell! It high life and dancing all the way. Plus Fufu and Banku!

I would like to correspond with anyone that is fascinated by Radio use in especially rural areas and also on Internet browsing for Radio listeners. I have been looking at youth involved with radio related initiatives and I came to Youth Radio (www.youthradio.org) which I find very innovative.

By the way I do work for a radio station in my free time as a news reporter and community announcer. Of course the DJing keeps me going being a music freak.

I would like to meet any Ghanaian members of TIG between Friday 23rd August mid-day and Saturday 24th mid-day.

I am in Accra Ghana, attending the African Youth Consultation on post UN World Conference on Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerances.

The meeting liself is going well and in our free times we are going round sight-seeing.

I hope to meet some Ghana TIGers. I am staying at Mensvic Palace Hotel in Room 201 if any members of TIG in Ghana want to meet me. The hotel is in East Legon.

Internet Cafes here ar common place as compared to Zambia and I am currently in BusyInternet which is more or less like EasyEverything.
