Setting Up a Computer Service Centre

It has been months since I last made a posting on my updates but I was away alot has been happening in Zambia as far as ICT4D and Youth are concerned.

For now I shall just say, we are launching a Computer refurbishment Centre under SchoolNet Zambia for which I am the Secretary on 8th April 2005.

Soon we shall also be making a major announcement on a big Youth and ICts project in Zambia funded by local and foreign donors.

There are also some events that have been going on which we shall update you all on soon and especially those still coming up.

Lastly, Zambia has finally adopted the National ICT Policy and our youth NGO was responsible for presenting a paper on Youth and ICTs and making recommendations for youth. We also spearheaded the proofreading and readjustments of the Draft Policy. Details to follow.
